How to use yakisoba noodles

Yakisoba noodles were mainly created so that they can be used to make the Japanese dish known as yakisoba. Here is an easy yakisoba recipe that you can try. It serves 6 people.
Ingredients
- 1 onion
- 2 carrots
- 6 shiitake mushrooms
- 4 cabbage leaves
- 2 scallions
- 340g pork belly
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 packets yakisoba noodles
- Ground black pepper
- 8 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 4 teaspoons oyster sauce
- 4 teaspoons soy sauce
- 8 teaspoons ketchup
- 4 teaspoons sugar
Method
Step 1
When making yakisoba start by making the sauce. In order to do this simply start by combining the Worcestershire sauce, oyster sauce, ketchup, soy sauce and sugar. Mix all the ingredients until they form a nice sauce which you will later use.
Step 2
Once the yakisoba sauce is ready, place it aside and start working on the yakisoba. Cut the onions, mushrooms and carrots into julienned strips. Also cut the cabbage, scallions and the pork into small pieces.
Step 3
Take a skillet and place it on a stove that is turned on to medium heat. Add the oil and once it has heated up add your pork. Cook it until it is no longer pink.
Step 4
Once the meat is done, add the carrots and onions to the skillet and cook them for 2 minutes before adding the cabbage. Cook the cabbage until its tender then add the scallions and mushrooms, season with black pepper and cook for 2 minutes.

Take the yakisoba noodles and place them in a sieve, add hot water to the sieve. This will help to loosen up the yakisoba noodles.
